This week I put away magazines, helped Mrs. Melchonne with attendance, and helped Ms. Vaccaro with school play documents. In school it is research paper time so everyone needs help printing articles for their research papers so I was a big help. I also helped students print their final semester projects for the marking period. After helping Mrs. Cannarozzi's class with printing she got them all to thank me for helping them print which made me very happy.
This week at Urgent Care was the busiest week I have seen since I've been here. One day this week we had to call in a second doctor to help see patients. What I did this week was help get the patients ready to see the doctor, help do lab tests, and call in patients. This week I was told I am allowed to start making phone calls to the patients to see how they are feeling after their visit at the Urgent Care.
This week was very quiet and was not busy at all so I sat down with my mentor Ms. Vaccaro and interviewed her and asked her 12 questions to get to know her a little bit more. I learned a lot about her and her career path. Other than interviewing Ms. Vaccaro, I also put magazines away, delivered some papers and much more. I also spent time helping out Mrs. Melchionne with the attendance.
This week was very quiet; there was not much going on at AFC Urgent Care. So I decided to interview one of the medical attendants, Sterling. While I was interviewing him, I learned a lot I didn't know before. Some things I did not know was that he majored in criminal justice in college. He wanted to be a police officer. What made him go into the medical field was his love for helping others.
